In 2007, this variant of the 7 pod was discovered. Originally grown by Cappy of the "Pepper Ridge Farm" from seeds sourced directly from Trinidad. Named the Brain Strain due to the shape and texture of this chilli, it actually looks like a brain. One of the hottest peppers out there the 7pot/pod Brain Strain have a fantastic Strong fruity flavour to match, pods size is usually around 40mm wide by 35mm high, the plants can grow more than one meter high.
