An extremely rare wild chilli which is endemic to two Galapagos islands, Isabella Island & Santa Cruz Island. It is also close to extinction, like most other wild chillies. It is a relatively small and compact plant growing to a height of 90cm, with silvery, hairy leaves which has a pleasant, strong scent when touched. It has small, white flowers and tiny, very hot, 5mm diameter red berries with a quite unique strong aroma.
